Transfer Equivalency Course Search

This tool is designed to help you determine how courses may transfer to Appalachian.

Only courses with grades of "C" or better are transferable. Coursework exceeding 10 years old is subject to validation.

To use this tool:

Select the appropriate dropdowns, then search by Course (e.g., HIS 111) or Title (e.g., World Civilizations I) at your institution or at Appalachian.
Hover over a course to determine if/how it meets our General Education requirements.
Click the Add button to add course(s) to your own Preliminary Evaluation at the bottom of the page. When finished, either capture a screenshot or 'right-click' and select 'Print' to save a PDF or print a hard copy for your records. For additional help with this, see our Step by Step Instructions.

NOTE: If you do not see your school or course listed, you may email institution information and course description(s) to Transfer Admissions & Engagement (transfer@appstate.edu) for review.
